One of the best read of 2020!!
This book is a collection of seven mythological stories of our Hindu deities.
The first chapter is about how Sati died and Shiva wandered all around the Bharatvarsha carrying her lifeless body.Mentioned about the establishment of Shaktipeetha and how Vishnu prevent the world from destruction.
The second chapter is about the Lord Krishna.Vasudev and Devaki suffered a lot because of Kansh as a sage predicted that her eighth son will be the reason of his destruction.
The third chapter is about Shoorpanakha. She was attracted toward Lord Ram and how her nose was cut off and it’s consequences.
The fourth chapter is about the Pandavas and Draupadi getting settled in the Kingdom of Matsya hiding their identities.Keechak the general of King Virat’s army, was attracted towards Draupadi and tried to molest her.Later Keechak was killed by Bhim.
The fifth chapter is about the origin of Ganga.
The sxith chapter is about Lord Krishna saving Draupadi when Dushasan tried to disrobe her.
The seventh chapter is about the life story Gautam Buddha and how he achieved enlightenment under the Bodhi tree.

This is so far one of the best read I would say.The book is very much informative when it comes to the Hindu Mythology.
Author has penned down the stories disclosing the reasons behind the incidents that happened with our deities.
Best part is the way author has beautifully described each and every characters and places.
The language is simple and easy  to read. The cover and title of the book is apt and conceptual.
The book is really interesting and pleasing.I enjoyed reading this book so much and finished it in two sittings.

I highly recommend this book to my friends who are into mythological reads.
